Hmm, I'm mixed on The Magnus Protocol. It spends so much time setting up new characters that it feels like there's too little horror (the stories) and too much of the other plot stuff. It doesn't feel balanced to me. Like, I don't know or love or even like any of these characters yet, so why are they at the complete forefront of every episode, sometimes to the point of having no horror stories at all? On the other hand, the horror stories are still good when they happen. At this point, I don't care about the characters yet, so I'm irritated with having to hear them chatter on so much. I think it's still worth listening to, though. You might take to the characters quicker than I do.
