It is once again time to remember that this site exists!
I've recently started my masters degree and moved in with some friends. On one hand this makes me hopeful that I migh tbe able to be more active here. Unless I'm actively working on writing fic I never feel like I have much too share here. I work on cosplays more regularly but I'm more likely too share that progress on Insta, because thats where most of my cosplay stuff happens. But moving in with my friends really made me motivated to write, draw and read more! I've been making small progress on the homestuck poetry collection and on the supernatural AU for once. On the other hand I feel busier than ever before and I havent even found a new job yet, so I have zero time to actually do anything with that motivation.

Mediawise the things keeping me occupied right now are Interview with the Vampire, To Be Hero X, the second season of Hazbin Hotel and Faserland by Christian Kracht. This line up does make me seem like a crazy person. I really wanna write fic for To Be Hero X but I also dont wanna start new projects I dont finish and once again...with what time. I dont really have any specific ideas for it either, I just want there to be more tbhx, If anyone has some recs I would welcome them and if you havent seen it: you should!
Ive been watching Interview with the Vampire and Hazbin with my roommates, so thats been fun. And it
s also the most present because we keep singing Hazbin songs and quoting the Armand Louis fight at each other. Fascinating has become a loaded term in this household.
I read Faserland for a seminar and I had truly no expectations, but surprisingly I liked it a lot. I do like media about a guy that sucks sooo bad. I kind of want to write fanfiction for that too, if only because Ive only been able to find a single one and I think it would be funny.

Check out Recurring Posts. You can pick any interest and make a point of posting about it regularly, but there's a big list of things other folks have done with it that might be inspiring.

Another option if you want to post regularly is to get any list of questions or blog prompts and use them once a day, a week, or whatever. My current set for Saturday is Philosophical Questions.

Yay! Communal living is good for that.

>> I've been making small progress on the homestuck poetry collection <<

That is awesome.

[community profile] 100quadrantedships seems to be the most active Homestuck community currently.

I have a ton of poetic series, mostly narrative, but I've also got a collection based on words from A Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows.

There are several communities that specialize in small fandoms and rare ships. You might check out [community profile] smallfandomfest, [community profile] smallfandombang, [community profile] smallfandom_nb, [community profile] launchtheship, or [community profile] bethefirst.

>>Thank you for all the advice!! I appreciate it a lot, this will really be helpful for starting to post more regularly<<

*bow, flourish* Happy to be of service.

>> That sounds amazing. Poetry is one of those things that I find super fascinating but don't really have a deep grasp one because I simply don't read it as much as prose.<<

If you want to enjoy it, just reading it is fine. If you want to understand it, then I suggest studying diverse forms and also the mechanics. Poetry has a lot of fascinating tools and techniques that most people don't know about.

>> That's part of the reason I started the Homestuck poetry collection to begin with.<<

Good idea.

>> But I've also been looking to read more of it and that sounds like such a cool concept!! <<

Here is my Serial Poetry page. Drop by my blog on Tuesday, January 6 and you can watch the Poetry Fishbowl. The January theme is always Short Forms, so you should see a good variety then; other months vary in theme.
